About us
EasyZPL came out of an annoying problem: if someone sends you a ZPL file and there is no Zebra printer nearby, you are stuck. The tools that existed either choked on large batches, or asked you to send labels carrying other people's data to a server that never explained what it did with them.
What EasyZPL does
It turns ZPL files, the Zebra Programming Language those printers speak, into print-ready PDF or PNG, one label per page. Useful for checking a label before printing it, for printing on an ordinary printer, and for keeping a copy.
Large batches are the point. Many tools convert one label at a time, or give up after a few dozen. Here the file is split into batches and converted in sequence, with the progress visible as it goes.
Drawing fidelity
What comes out is what the printer would draw: same commands, same measurements, same density. It is not an approximation of the format.
Every version is compared pixel for pixel against reference images kept here. If an update changes how a label is drawn, that shows up before it reaches you.
Why we keep nothing
A shipping label carries the recipient's name, address, national ID and phone number. Keeping that would bring the product no benefit and would put at risk people who do not even know their data passed through here.
So the service that renders opens no files and writes nothing to disk. The details are in the privacy policy.
Who maintains it
EasyZPL is maintained by one person, in Brazil. There is no large company behind it, and that is deliberate: it keeps the cost low enough for the tool to stay free for people who convert a little.
